The weather has been crap lately. No snow, unusually warm, wet and really windy. Yesterday (saturday) was a reasonably nice day so Martijn and I went on a bike journey around an area known as the Ooiy. I've even included a little map! Clever.Remember, click on an image to see a bigger version of it.
(above) The amazing view back towards Nijmegen on a "nice" day. Complete with bridges, churches behind trees, ugly factories and drowning boats.
(top) After riding though some wild ponies in a nature reserve, we came across a lookout. Those are our bikes... Martijn, being the city folk that he is, locked up the bikes... not that there was anyone around, and its not as if we wouldnt be able to spot them coming in the first place.(bottom) I lost my gloves sometime after christmas and have been improvising ever since.

(top) And just to prove that we do wear our headbands out in public (but not both at the same time). Damage to the tree care of the storm last week.(bottom) We thought we found some old Roman ruins, but the plaque said it was an old brick factory built in the 1800's.
