We have had an active weekend in and around Utrecht. Yesterday (Saturday) we started a five course dinner where you ride from village to village for every course. Bad weather and tired legs meant our five courses became three courses. Today (Sunday) we spent the afternoon cruising the canals of Utrecht in a -not that fast- whisper boat. Des and Tijn took turns playing captain while Mum and I gave pointers. The weather was good, the birds were out and the church bells were ringing. People threw some cheese at us in an attempt to share.
