November and December overview

Lazy me... no month overview for November. Will just have to give a nov-dec summary mostly in images and dot points.

November was a month of:

• baking apple pie
• being a bit sick
• watching the 7hill run on a very cold day

December was a month of:

• Kabooki -despite being throughly organised with talks of a David Attinbrough romp around a nature reserve looking for some wildlife, visiting an indoor water slide park or watching the entire 1st series of Heros in one day -- in true Kabooki spirit we ended up doing very little. We blame it on being unwell (see dot point in november).
  

• bowling - I seem to have to go bowling once every 3 years or so..... Im still crap at it and don't enjoy it very much.

• Sinterklaas - we skipped it this year... instead, I went to the hairdressers

• Kelly's 30th birthday - reflected on my own yearly increasing age

• Spent weekend in a free 5 star hotel in Düsseldorf with Kelly and Kaemon

• Official "best of Christmas & Sinterklaas" triathlon club bash - I went all out and made sport-gingerbread men for a cheap christmas tree effect! I think they turned out really well.
  

• ice-skating outside (on an athletic track that had been sprayed with water) while the temperature slowly rose from -2 to 5 in the space of 2 hours. With every lap it became a little more slushy. Eventually the "Ice Master" had to close it down cause there was no more ice (yes, that was the Ice Master's real title - he had it printed on the back of his jacket)
• Christmas eve - was fantastic. Wine, chocolate, presents - what else does a girl need.

• Christmas day - spent with part of Martijn's family.
