After another few conversations with the immigration department (at the lovely cost of 10 cents a minute and with a waiting time of 10 minutes per phone call), I think things are starting to look better.
Name is now good along with other details like DOB, address, nationality....
My file has been moved from an ordinary pile on someone's desk to The Head Pile. What does that mean? If I still havent heard anything in the next 2 weeks, I am to phone back again (while the 10 cent a minute phone bill will continue to grow).
